Talented culinary stars Elly Wentworth and Dean Westcar are set to treat Barbican Kitchen diners to an unforgettable evening of exquisite food, as part of the brasserie's exclusive guest chef evening. Taking over the kitchen for one night only, they will give diners the chance to taste a selection of mouth-watering dishes and wine, from starters to desserts, as part of a six-course menu created by the two expert chefs.
Returning to the South West for the first time since finding fame on a popular professional cooking TV show, Elly Wentworth consistently wowed judges with her top-quality dishes and determination, securing a coveted place in the finals.
As a long-time friend of the Tanner brothers, Elly started her career off working and learning from the brothers in their fine dining restaurant, Tanners. After working her way up the culinary ladder, Elly now works as a junior sous chef at Michelin starred restaurant and luxury spa, Lucknam Park, in Wiltshire.
Likewise, Dean Westcar has gone on to achieve great things since winning South West Professional Chef of the Year in 2014, confirming his position as one of the best young chefs in the region. Now working alongside Elly as Senior Sous Chef at Lucknam Park, Dean’s passion and creativity is a regular ingredient in all his dishes.
