In April 2006 the Tanner Brothers launched their second restaurant, the Barbican Kitchen.

The Barbican Kitchen Brasserie combines two of Plymouth's best-known brands: the Tanner Brothers and Plymouth Gin. Situated in the heart of Plymouth's historic Barbican, this lively, well-priced brasserie is located in the very building where the Pilgrim Fathers spent their last night before setting sail in the Mayflower - the Plymouth Gin Distillery.

The Barbican Kitchen has an exciting, vibrant feel. Its contemporary decor was designed by award-winning restaurant designer Shaun Clarkson. The cool, funky informality combines with the centuries-old building to create a dining environment that is unique in Plymouth.
